In industrial plants, various wastewater characteristics are observed arising from various production facilities. Treatability tests fort he wastewater samples taken are carried out in laboratory studies and the applicable process can be chosen throughout the results of the applied tests.

The effluent can be recycled back for reuse applications, if required , to be used in the production process depending on the sector. Generally, it is necessary to implement a granular filtration and/or surface filtration (membrane system) to the treatment for this purpose.

Depending on the volumetric conditions, industrial treatment plants can be constructed of reinforced concrete or package products such as carbon steel or GRP.
